Summary
Jasper Party is a free party game to play with friends. Play safely and be kind to others. If an optional subscription is added later, purchases go through Apple only.
1. Scope
These terms govern your use of the Jasper Party iOS app and this website. By using the app, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. The app is licensed through the App Store under Apple’s Standard License Agreement; these terms apply in addition to it.
2. The service
Jasper Party is a party game for groups in the same place, played on one phone or on everyone’s own phone. It is free to download. Games and features may change, be added or be removed over time.
Gold, points and prizes in the games are virtual. They have no real-money value, cannot be cashed out and are not gambling.
3. Age and safe play
Use the app in line with its App Store age rating. If you are a minor, use it with the consent of a parent or guardian.
In movement games, hold the phone firmly and leave enough space around you. Do not play while driving or anywhere unsafe. You are responsible for injuries or damage caused by how you play.
4. Conduct
- Do not use insults, hate speech or someone else’s personal information as a player name. Jasper may read player names out loud.
- Do not try to join a room you were not invited to.
- Do not try to disrupt the service, send excessive or automated requests or get around security measures.
We may limit access to the service if these rules are broken.
5. In-app purchases
Jasper Party may offer an optional subscription in the future. If it does, purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple through your App Store account. Pricing, auto-renewal, cancellation and refunds follow Apple’s terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel them in your App Store account settings before the renewal date. You can reactivate past purchases with the restore option in the app.
6. Intellectual property
The app, the Jasper character, its voice, texts and design are owned by us or licensed to us. You receive a limited, non-transferable right to use them for personal, non-commercial purposes.
7. Warranty and liability
The service is provided “as is”. We do not guarantee that it will run without interruption or errors; internet or server problems can cut a party short, and temporary sessions and scores may be lost.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always published on this page with its “Last updated” date. You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
9. Contact
For questions, see the Support page. A contact address will appear there when the app is released on the App Store.
The provider’s legal name, contact address and governing law will be added to these terms before the App Store release.
